FINCA Jordan appreciatively welcomed FMH board and management team members as they visited Jordan on 19-26 November, 2016.

• Mr. Richard Williamson, Founding Member;
• Johannes Feist, Director;
• Michael Barth, Director;
• Mrs. Zar Wardak Vise President and Regional Director for the Middle East and South Asia;
• Keith Sandbloom, Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean;
• Seth Spiro, Senior Director, Global Marketing Communication.

The visit schedule started by holding a meeting for FINCA board and management team members at the hotel for four hours then visited FINCA Jordan HQ, followed with a special recognition ceremony by FINCA Microfinance CEO, Mrs. Andree Simon, to FINCA Jordan Customer Experience Star winner, Mr. Rami Al-Da’as -Credit Officer in FINCA Jordan Hussien branch. Later at the same night, FINCA Jordan seized a traditional welcoming dinner hosted by the Jordanian team for the esteemed guests.

The day after, FINCA guests visited different FINCA Jordan clients where they heard different entrepreneur’s success stories and shared some special gifts with them. The first client they visited whose a third cycle client, a mother of three kids is a Palestinian client, Mrs. Najla’ Abu-Oweidah, living in a Palestinian Refugee Camp in Jerash. The loan helped her to expand her school and made improvements in a rural low income refugee camp area. Then, FMH members visited Irbid district to reach out the second client where FINCA Jordan loan supported him to build a second level of the local school he’s operating. His school attendances have increased from 50 to 80 students and four new elementary school classes had been added. Last client guests visited was Mrs. Amal Suleiman Hrahach, a 39-year-old entrepreneur and a mother of nine children’s who has been able by FINCA loan to have an income for her family through successful livestock farming (usually considered a man’s job).

A team building activity on the third day of the guest’s trip was joyfully implemented through visiting Petra and enjoying the sightseeing of those wonderful ancient red –rose ruins.
The busy schedule contained also a special dinner for the occasion of Thanksgiving where all guests and FINCA Jordan members shared their thankful thoughts and enjoyed the turkeys and special meal cousins.

It’s a pleasure for all FINCA Jordan team to be hosting such an important event where all were inspired and excel in utilizing the flawless execution every single day of the week event.
