Kabir is with FINCA Jordan since 2019 while with FINCA Network since 2015. Currently he is the Acting CEO for the Company since June 2024 and also full time CFO since 2019.

Previously, Kabir worked as CFO with another FINCA Subsidiary for more than 4 years. Before FINCA, Kabir was working with Deloitte in Audit & Assurance Department. There, he led the team in Statutory Audits of major financial institutions including FINCA, various Banks, Telecom, Trading, Oil and Gas industry and other development institutions in multiple countries.

As CFO Kabir handled two subsidiaries in FINCA Network for over a year in COVID crises situation and worked with managements, board and other stakeholders to bring the subsidiaries out of the crisis’s situation. He possesses a great deal of experience in the fields of strategy formulation, its implementation and monitoring, team management, financial analysis, project handling, financial decision making, budgeting, financial management, accounting, and regulatory requirements & reporting.

He raised millions of dollars in borrowings / fund raising, both locally and internationally for different countries. Involved in countless lender restructurings, workouts, and intense negotiations to ensure the good standing of the companies. Kabir built and maintained partnerships with strategic lenders, donors, vendors of major technological enhancements that contributed to the overall growth of the organizations.

He also managed and oversaw the management of financial resources, liquidity, capital market, treasury management, cashflow management, contingency plannings, funding strategies, Risk management, investment, risk and compliance management and covenant management for over 8 years in my working experience. Further he has extensive knowledge and experience in changing business model towards digitization, innovation and efficient use of existing resources.

In order to contribute towards the business technological changes, have worked extensively on Return on Investment on innovation and IT strategic initiatives, its risk management, data analytics for decision making, performance metrics, have created and tracked KPIs to business.

He has more than seven (9) years of experience in microfinance industry while a total of 16 years of experience in different fields relating to strategical decision making, accounting, financial management and auditing.

Kabir has completed his CA article ship of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan from Deloitte Pakistan. He is a Chartered Accountant (ACA), Certified Professional Accountant (CPA-UK) and possess a graduate degree in Economics and Statistics from University of the Punjab Lahore Pakistan.
